The Red Fort Delhi :

The Red Fort was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1638–1648. When Shah Jahan shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi, he started building the Red Fort. Now this fort is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. If you are going to visit here, then it would be good that you take help of a guide who will tell you all its features. The Qutb Minar :

The Qutb Minar complex, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, also houses the Quvvat-ul-Islam Mosque, it is the first mosque built in North India, besides a domed door, Ali Darwaza and Iltutmish's tomb are also present in the Qutub Minar complex. However, the oldest monument in this complex is a 7 meter high iron pole which was built by Chandragupta II, the ruler of the Gupta Empire.

India Gate

The British arch built on the lines of the Arc de Triomphe of Paris has become synonymous with Delhi. Originally built in memory of the Indian soldiers who were martyred in the First World War, today India Gate is the most popular public place in Delhi. Here you will find picnics, snacks and ice cream vendors and take photos of the beautiful views around.

Humayun’s Tomb :

This tomb, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, offers a splendid example of Mughal architecture before the Taj Mahal. Like the monument built in Agra, it is also surrounded by Charbag (garden of four corners), with a small drain of water, a tomb is built in the center. Marble and red sandstone have been put to good use in the beautiful mausoleum.

How to Reach :

The most popular method of reaching Agra from Delhi is by train (2 to 3 hours) and road (4 to 5 hours), from Jaipur by road (5 to 6 hours) and train (4 hours), and Gwalior (train 1 hour) and road (2 hours).  There is a new Express Way to Agra from Delhi, which connects in 2 hours BUT the access points at each end in Agra or Delhi can take 30 to 60 minutes to reach, depending on which part of town you start from and the traffic conditions at that hour. Writer of this Article is of passionate traveler; Go Here or all the more interesting information
